We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our interior design team. The ideal candidate will support the design and implementation process, ensuring the highest quality of execution in projects. Key Responsibilities
- Technical Drawings and Documentation
- Interpret and translate design concepts into technical drawings (2D and 3D).
- Prepare and review construction documentation and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure feasibility and accuracy of designs.
- Project Implementation
- Supervise and assist in the installation of furniture, fixtures, and finishes as per the design plan.
- Conduct on-site measurements and verify dimensions for accuracy.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during project execution.
- Material Handling and Coordination
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Verify material quality and specifications upon delivery.
- Compliance and Standards
- Ensure all projects comply with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
- Maintain quality control throughout all stages of the project.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with interior designers, project managers, and other team members.
- Provide feedback on technical aspects of designs to enhance project outcomes.
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
