Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented FMCG Sales Executive with 3–5 years of experience in field sales. The candidate will be responsible for handling retail and distributor sales, achieving monthly sales targets, expanding market coverage, and maintaining strong relationships with retailers and distributors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned by the management.

  • Appoint and manage distributors, wholesalers, and retailers within the assigned territory.

  • Ensure product availability and visibility in all retail outlets.

  • Conduct regular market visits to generate new business and expand market share.

  • Implement company sales strategies, schemes, and promotional activities.

  • Monitor stock levels at distributor and retail outlets to avoid stock-outs.

  • Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer preferences.

  • Ensure timely collection of payments and outstanding dues from distributors/retailers.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and submit to the reporting manager.

  • Maintain proper merchandising and branding standards in the market.

  • Resolve customer complaints and provide after-sales support.


Required Skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Good knowledge of FMCG distribution and retail market

  • Ability to meet targets and work under pressure

  • Relationship management and networking skills

  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting

  • Problem-solving and territory management skills


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.

  • Any sales or marketing certification will be an added advantage.
