Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Implementation:
• Assist in the design, selection, and implementation of instrumentation and control
systems.
• Develop and maintain instrument specifications, loop diagrams, and other technical
documentation.
• Participate in the development of control strategies and algorithms.
• Installation and Maintenance:
• Install, commission, and maintain instrumentation and control equipment, ensuring
proper functionality and calibration.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation and control systems,
implementing corrective actions.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including calibration and testing of instruments.
• Performance and Optimization:
• Monitor the performance of instrumentation and control systems, identifying areas for
improvement and optimization.
• Participate in process optimization studies, recommending changes to improve
efficiency and safety.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of instrument installations, maintenance activities, and
performance data.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to instrumentation and control systems.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and operators to ensure smooth and
efficient operation of the facility.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related
field.
• 2 years of experience in the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of
instrumentation and control systems.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation and control principles, including PID control,
SCADA systems, and PLC programming.
• Familiarity with common instrumentation devices, such as sensors, transmitters, and
actuators.
• Proficiency in using software tools for instrument configuration and simulation.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
