We are seeking an experienced .NET Lead (API) to lead backend development initiatives, with strong expertise in API design, development, and integration. The candidate will play a key role in architecting scalable backend systems, mentoring the team, and ensuring high-quality delivery for enterprise-grade applications.
Responsibilities:
● Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend applications using C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
● Architect and develop RESTful APIs and Web Services, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
● Guide the team in API best practices, design patterns, and integration strategies.
● Optimize database queries, stored procedures, and indexes in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, QA, and business stakeholders.
● Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and enforce coding standards.
● Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
● Implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud integrations (Azure preferred).
● Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum processes for sprint-based deliveries.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
● 8+ years of backend development experience with C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework.
● Strong expertise in API design, development, and integration.
● Hands-on experience with MSSQL (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning).
● Proficiency in Entity Framework / ADO.NET.
● Familiarity with design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.
● Experience with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, MSTest).
● Knowledge of Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
● Exposure to message queues (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus) is an advantage.
● Strong understanding of security best practices in API and backend development.
