Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tender Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of government procurement processes, including e-tender platforms, GEM portal, and other government purchase systems. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who can manage the end-to-end tender process, ensuring timely and accurate submission while maximizing the chances of successful bid outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and identify government tenders (Central/State) and GEM portal opportunities relevant to the company’s products and services.
- Prepare, compile, and submit tender documents as per specified guidelines and timelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, finance, technical) to gather necessary documents, specifications, and quotations.
- Ensure compliance with all tender terms, conditions, and eligibility requirements.
- Track tender submissions and manage follow-ups for clarifications, pre-bid meetings, and negotiations.
- Maintain an updated database of all tenders, bids, awards, and related documentation for internal reporting.
- Analyze tender results and prepare reports for management to review performance and opportunities.
- Support preparation of proposals, pricing, and technical documentation.
- Liaise with government departments, vendors, and partners to clarify tender requirements when needed.
Qualifications:
- Degree/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or relevant field.
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in government tenders, e-tender portals, and GEM procurement.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes, tender evaluation, and contract terms.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word, for documentation and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Prior experience in the healthcare, diagnostics, or related sectors is preferred.
