Job Description
We are a growing trading company specializing in construction materials and solutions, including fresh vegetables, enamel paint, refractory bricks, ceramic basins, emulsion paint, and flushing cisterns. With a focus on quality products and timely delivery, we cater to a wide range of client requirements in the construction industry.
Role Overview:
The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising construction activities, ensuring material usage aligns with project needs, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining site quality and safety. This role requires technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and effective communication to support smooth site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily site activities and ensure work progress as per project timelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, laborers, and suppliers for smooth execution.
- Monitor material usage (cement, paints, bricks, sanitary ware, etc.) and prevent wastage.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies at site.
- Assist in preparing site reports, daily progress updates, and quality checks.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager and procurement team for material requirements.
- Conduct basic quality inspections of construction work and report discrepancies.
- Support in resolving on-site technical issues and providing timely solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- 6 months – 1 year of site experience in construction / trading company preferred.
- Basic understanding of construction drawings and site execution.
- Knowledge of construction materials like paints, sanitary ware, and bricks will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and handle on-site challenges.
- Willingness to travel to different sites as required.
