Position Overview:

As a Business Intelligence Analyst , you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze competitors, pricing strategies, market trends, and customer behaviour to deliver valuable insights that fuel business growth. This position requires someone with strong analytical skills, experience in pricing and market analysis, and a passion for creating visual data stories that support business strategies. You will leverage various BI tools to gather, analyze, and present data in a way that empowers teams to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Reporting: o Gather and analyze competitor pricing, market trends, and business performance data.

Identify key market patterns and provide actionable insights to inform pricing strategies, product development, and marketing campaigns.

  • Build and maintain automated dashboards and reports to monitor performance, identify trends, and deliver regular updates to leadership.
  • • Market & Competitive Intelligence: o Conduct in-depth market and competitor research, focusing on competitive strategy models, trends, and market strategies.
  •  Perform SWOT analysis and competitive benchmarking to assess the market landscape and recommend actionable strategies. o Identify and track industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor campaigns to maintain a competitive edge.
  • • Data Visualization & Insights: o Design and implement compelling data visualizations that communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Utilize tools like Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, and Excel to create actionable insights and reports. • Collaboration & Strategy Development: 
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams to develop data-driven strategies that align with business goals.
  • Provide data-backed recommendations for pricing models, go-tomarket strategies, and customer targeting.
  •  Continuous Improvement: o Stay informed on industry trends and continuously enhance analysis techniques and reporting systems.
  • Suggest process improvements and automation opportunities to improve data analysis and reporting efficiency.
  • Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in Data analysis, Market intelligence, or Business Intelligence roles or other relevant roles for 0-4 years.

• Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros) and familiarity with SQL or Python for data manipulation and analysis.

• Strong understanding of pricing strategies and competitive analysis.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and engaging manner.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.

• Experience in e-commerce analytics, consumer behavior analysis, or market research would be an added advantage.

• Preference for candidates with experience in pricing strategy and market segmentation.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, web analytics, or data integration would be an added advantage.
