A travel and tourism company specializing in B2B and B2C travel solutions, including domestic and international holidays, corporate travel, flight bookings, hotels, visa services, group tours, and customized travel experiences. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to lead our sales team, drive revenue growth, develop new business opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Revenue Management Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Set individual and team sales targets and monitor performance against KPIs. Drive sales of international and domestic holiday packages, corporate travel, flight tickets, hotels, visa services, and customized tours. Identify opportunities to increase conversion rates, average booking value, and repeat business. Maintain healthy sales pipelines and ensure timely follow-up on all enquiries and leads. 2. Team Management Lead, motivate, and manage the travel sales team. Allocate leads and enquiries effectively among team members. Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and one-to-one coaching sessions. Train team members on sales techniques, destination knowledge, product knowledge, CRM usage, and customer handling. Monitor individual performance and take corrective action where required. Build a target-driven yet customer-focused sales culture. 3. Lead Management & Conversion Ensure every enquiry is contacted promptly and professionally. Establish proper follow-up schedules for all active leads. Monitor lead-to-quotation and quotation-to-booking conversion ratios. Review lost enquiries and identify reasons for non-conversion. Develop strategies to recover dormant and lost leads. Ensure 100% of customer interactions and sales activities are updated in the CRM. 4. Business Development Identify and develop new B2C and B2B business opportunities. Build relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, agents, institutions, and other potential business partners. Generate corporate travel and group travel opportunities. Develop referral and repeat-business channels. Participate in sales meetings, client presentations, networking events, and industry activities. 5. Quotation & Sales Process Ensure quotations are accurate, competitive, professional, and delivered within the company’s defined turnaround time. Review high-value and complex quotations before submission where required. Support the team in negotiating with customers while protecting company margins. Ensure proper handover of confirmed bookings to the operations/reservations team. Minimize errors, cancellations, and revenue leakage caused by sales process gaps. 6. CRM & Reporting Maintain accurate sales pipeline information in the CRM. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. Track: Leads received Leads contacted Quotations issued Follow-ups completed Bookings confirmed Conversion rate Revenue generated Gross margin Pending payments Lost opportunities Present sales performance and pipeline updates to management. 7. Customer Relationship Management Handle important, high-value, and escalated customer enquiries. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Ensure a high standard of customer service throughout the sales journey. Encourage repeat bookings, referrals, and customer loyalty. Resolve sales-related customer concerns professionally and promptly. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) The Sales Manager will be evaluated based on: Monthly and annual revenue achievement Sales target achievement Lead-to-booking conversion rate Quotation-to-booking conversion rate Average booking value Gross profit / margin Number of new customers acquired Corporate/B2B accounts generated Repeat customer bookings Lead response and follow-up discipline CRM compliance Team productivity and target achievement Customer satisfaction Candidate Profile Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Experience Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in the travel and tourism industry. Experience managing a sales team will be highly preferred. Experience in international holiday packages, corporate travel, or travel services will be an advantage.
