Job Description
We are looking for an overall procurement and logistics coordinator with 1-2 years experience.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for keeping a record of vendors and previous prices
- Responsible for taking quotation from reputed vendors for material and negotiating for best rates
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery timelines and negotiating contracts
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
- Maintaining good relations with suppliers and negotiating contracts
- Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers
- Preparation of budgets and cost analyses and reports for both prospective projects for Sales Team and ongoing / awarded projects for Projects Team
- Preparation of SOPs for despatch of material from vendors till delivery to customer
- Maintenance and handling of warranty related documents and filing of all procurement information
- Follow up with vendors for on-time supply and follow up with customers for correct delivery expectations
- Preparation of bills in connection with accounts team and preparation of e-way bills and any other documents for smooth despatch and delivery of material from vendors to us and from us to customer
- Handling urgent requirement of material for projects operations and factory running as required
Qualifications:
- Experience in handling procurement and logistics for at least 1 – 2 years is preferred
- Strong Tally and ERP skills
- S Office and Excel
- Good communication skills
- Other duties shall be accepted as required
