Key Responsibilities As part of a high-impact QA Engineering team, you will: * Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks covering UI, API, and basic performance testing. * Build robust test automation solutions for Angular-based applications and Java microservices, ensuring seamless integration across web and API layers. * Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing in cloud environments. * Leverage AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Codex, and Claude to accelerate test script development, test data creation, and defect analysis. * Implement quality metrics, reporting mechanisms, and observability dashboards to provide actionable insights. * Collaborate closely with Development, DevOps, and Product teams to embed quality practices early in the software development lifecycle. * Participate in Agile ceremonies, release planning, and quality assurance activities. ### Required Experience * 7–12 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with strong expertise in UI and API test automation. ### Core Skills & Responsibilities * Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or WebDriverIO. * Automate REST and GraphQL API testing using REST Assured and Postman. * Create reusable test components and manage test data pipelines. * Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing. * Conduct basic to intermediate performance and load testing using JMeter or BlazeMeter. * Ensure comprehensive test coverage, execution transparency, and result reporting. * Support shift-left testing practices and proactive defect prevention. ### Technical Expertise **Programming Languages** * Java * TypeScript * JavaScript **Automation Tools** * Selenium WebDriver * Playwright * WebDriverIO **API Testing** * REST Assured * Postman * Thunder Client **Performance Testing** * JMeter * BlazeMeter **Frameworks** * TestNG * Mocha * Jasmine * Cucumber (BDD) **Build & CI/CD Tools** * Maven * Gradle * Jenkins * GitHub Actions **Reporting Tools** * Allure Reports * Extent Reports * Mocha Awesome **Databases** * SQL (Advanced Queries) * MongoDB (Validation & Verification) **Cloud & DevOps** * AWS or GCP Test Environments * Dockerized Applications and Builds **AI Productivity Tools** * GitHub Copilot * ChatGPT * Claude ### Preferred Qualifications * Experience in fintech, loyalty, rewards, or e-commerce platforms. * Exposure to mobile and cross-browser testing tools such as BrowserStack or Perfecto. * Knowledge of performance profiling and CI/CD-integrated load testing. * Experience creating QA dashboards and quality metrics for leadership reporting. * Prior experience mentoring junior QA engineers or leading small automation teams.
