Job Summary:
The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the organization, ensuring accurate financial records, managing accounting staff, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical, and organized individual with a strong background in accounting principles and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and provide insight to the management on financial planning and Investment planning.
- Develop, monitor, and analyse budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Provide variance analysis and recommendations for budget adjustments.
- Experience in Inventory Management and stock management with a focus on controlling production cost.
- Implement and maintain cost control mechanisms and Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
- Expertise in negotiation with Financial Institutions, service providers, suppliers and vendors
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Filing of Tax returns including GST, MCA filing and compliance with tax regulations on time.
- Lead and manage an accounting team of 5-10 people, providing guidance, training, performance evaluations, and creating a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Strict compliance with accounting standards and regulations and Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Ensure data accuracy, data security and proficiency in Tally software for maintaining accurate financial records and reports is mandatory
Qualifications:
- Education: CA.-must
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge on accounting, book keeping, and taxation. Proficiency in Tally is mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preference will be given to the candidates from hospitals / health care industry.
