The BDM manages & directs staff management in project management, sales, engineering and construction. The role is responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of direct reports and for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies and applicable laws.
1. Key Account Management/CRM
Initiate and develop key accounts for business development.
Effective relationship management with significant clients to ascertain quality of service and business retention.
Ensuring maximum customer satisfaction by providing pre/post technical assistance.
Preparation, analysis and implementation of budgets, preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
2. Marketing/Business Development
Territory mapping and market segmentation to identify new customer groups to market/sell products and services.
Initiating, planning and execution of promotional activities.
Planning and execution of primary and secondary sales to achieve targeted volume.
Implementation of incentives and schemes in correlation with the management.
3. Strategy and Leadership
Develop annual plans, SOP and budget.
Conceptualize, validate and implement strategies for business expansion.
Identifying and developing supplier/vendor sources.
Ensuring cost Effective Logistic operations and streamline material movement to ascertain sufficient inventory levels.
4. Logistics/Warehouse Management
Managing logistic functions and implementing/monitoring cost effective transport solutions.
Implement measures to maximize productivity of the Logistics Department.
Planning and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
Assigning and evaluating the work performance of the personnel assigned.
