Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and review project plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently.
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Resolve any technical issues or challenges encountered during construction.
- Monitor construction progress and prepare detailed reports.
- Supervise on-site teams and provide necessary guidance and support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project, Primavera (or other relevant software).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Knowledge of cost estimation and project management principles.
- Valid professional engineering license (if required).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with modern construction techniques and sustainability practices.
