Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with at least 1 year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of interior design concepts, space planning, materials, and the ability to convert client requirements into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements, preferences, and budget to develop suitable interior design concepts.
- Prepare 2D layouts, 3D designs, floor plans, and detailed drawings.
- Create mood boards, material selections, colour schemes, and furniture layouts.
- Develop designs for residential and/or commercial interior projects.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and other project teams.
- Conduct site visits and ensure designs are implemented as per approved plans.
- Prepare detailed specifications and material requirements.
- Make design modifications based on client feedback.
- Monitor project progress and provide design-related support during execution.
- Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, and industry practices.
- Ensure projects are completed within the agreed timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in interior designing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Revit, or other relevant design software.
- Good knowledge of space planning, furniture layouts, materials, lighting, and colour combinations.
- Strong creative and visualization skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and design specifications.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
