Our school is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Admission Officer to join our admissions team. As an Admission Officer, you will play a vital role in attracting, evaluating, and enrolling qualified students who align with our school’s mission and values.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for prospective students and their families.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective students, parents, and guardians, providing accurate information about our school’s programs, admission requirements, and application procedures.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and evaluations of prospective students to assess their suitability for admission.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators to review and evaluate applications, considering academic performance, extracurricular involvement, personal statements, and recommendation letters.
- Participate in recruitment events, including open houses, school fairs, and information sessions, both on and off-campus, to attract prospective students and promote our institution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with feeder schools, educational consultants, and other stakeholders to enhance the school’s visibility and attract qualified candidates.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and changes in admission policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records related to admissions, including applicant data, acceptance rates, and enrollment statistics.
- Assist in the orientation and onboarding of new students and their families.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in any stream or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in admissions, student recruitment, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse individuals and groups.
- Familiarity with educational systems, admission requirements, and enrollment procedures.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service to prospective students and their families.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for recruitment events and admissions-related activities
