Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate travel services and a proven track record of building relationships with corporate clients. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing strategies to expand the client base, and driving growth in the corporate travel segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate travel sector, focusing on medium to large-sized enterprises.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their travel needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and service agreements to potential clients, ensuring alignment with their travel requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams (operations, travel consultants, and finance) to ensure seamless service delivery for corporate clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform business strategies.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as agreed upon with management.
- Negotiate corporate travel agreements and contracts, ensuring competitive pricing and service offerings.
- Provide ongoing account management to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and opportunities for growth.
- Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and business meetings to represent the company and promote services.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts for management review.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the corporate travel or travel management industry.
- Strong understanding of corporate travel services, products, and trends.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets.
- Strong analytical skills with a results-driven approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
