Description

We are looking for a qualified Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. You will lead our marketing efforts using new media and digital tools. If you know how to creatively handle various online marketing tools, like websites, podcasts and blogs, this position is for you. You will work with different teams to coordinate our marketing, advertising and promotional activities.

This is a full time (48 hour per week) position offered for permanent job and you will be based in Kochi where you will be working closely with the Marketing and Communication Team.

Ultimately, you should be able to promote our company and increase client engagement.

Your duties will include (but are not limited to): 

  • Research, plan & execute the marketing projects & campaigns. Creating & distributing them in the most suitable social media channels. Keep track & measure its impact & effectiveness
  • Performing & maximizing Search Engine Optimization activities
  • Creating & executing Email marketing campaigns
  • Actively managing the website performance through Google Analytics
  • Research on media to reach new customers, retain existing customers & generate leads
  • Analyzing market research and plan promotions, competitions and other various creative marketing techniques based on the research results
  • Coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g. website, blogs, press releases and podcasts) to boost brand awareness
  • Manage end-to-end digital projects
  • Maintain a strong online company voice through social media
  • Liaise with Marketing, Sales and Product development teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase profitability
  • Monitor ROI and KPIs
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile marketing
  • Stay up-to-date with digital media developments
  • There are other roles as well, the above mentioned are the basic & major roles & responsibilities which has to be done pro – actively

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Audacity or other media editing software
  • Experience with visual communication principles
  • He/she should know how to run SEO, SEM, Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Pay Per Click Advertising, Affiliate Marketing, Email Marketing, Instant Messaging marketing, Local Search Marketing, Remarketing, Influencer marketing and viral marketing techniques
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in Marketing Communications, Digital Media or relevant field preferred
  • Additional qualification in web design or animation is a plus
  • Proven work experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist or Digital Marketing Manager
  • 0 to 5-year experience, preferably in related field

Benefits

Digital Marketing Specialist typically work in a normal time schedule. Starting salaries can range from around ₹18,000 – ₹28,000 a month and, on average, Senior Digital Marketing Specialist earn salaries in the range of ₹ 30,000 – ₹35,000.
