Field Sales Executive – Software Sales

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Field Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. This role involves selling software solutions to businesses, building strong client relationships, and meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, a strong understanding of software solutions, and a proven ability to close deals in a competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, and referrals.
  • Client Engagement: Meet with potential clients to understand their business needs, present software solutions, and demonstrate product features.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the client’s requirements.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contracts, handle objections, and close sales to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Research: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment between client needs and software offerings.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the sales manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B field sales(preferred), preferably in software or technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of software products and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling SaaS (Software as a Service) products.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software solutions.
  • A strong network of potential business clients.
