Job Description

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Hardware/Network maintenance and support
  • Application support
  • Provide constant VOIP/IP phone support (Elastix IP PBX & Asterisk (PBX) server
  • Create and maintain PBX server, Knowledge in Asterisk(PBX) server
  • To assist office 365 account maintenance, Knowledge in SharePoint
  • To assist in Outlook configuration, Repairing crashed PST files.
  • To assist in Exchange server maintenance
  • To assist in Citrix server maintenance
  • To assist with the administration of the company’s computer network
  • To carry out daily data backup routines
  • To record and provide first line support for all hardware faults
  • To report and follow up hardware faults to external support companies as required
  • To assist in coaching users in the use of PC based software packages e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
  • To maintain an accurate inventory of computer equipment and software
  • To maintain stocks of computer consumables
  • To carry out installation of hardware and operating system software as required including cable routing.
  • To provide support for the production of reports as requested.
  • Provides basic troubleshooting, repair and maintenance for computer equipment (e.g.

microcomputers, disk drives, and laser printers) and may assist with testing personal

computers and peripherals on a network to diagnose, hardware versus software

problems;

  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses problems, implements corrective action procedures within

prescribed guidelines and/or escalates to other technical resources as appropriate

  • Any other ad hoc duties requested
  • Produce required systems-related documentation
  • Ensuring the proper Internet connection from all the workstations.
  • Configuration of all the equipment in the office
  • Check all the equipment as to regard of its proper functioning
  • Contribute to a positive attitude among staff toward technology utilization
  • Communicates clearly, respectfully and transparently with people of both genders, different nationalities and cultures to facilitate learning while expanding IT comprehension
  • Understands and responds promptly to user needs and concerns
  • Seeks feedback on the quality of service provided and follows up to ensure complete satisfaction
  • Positive client service provider showing flexibility and an eagerness in arriving at user-friendly solutions

Skills/competencies

 

  • Windows server 2008 and Above
  • Knowledge in Exchange Server configuration
  • Knowledge in Office 365, Email configuration in outlook, repair crashed PST file.
  • Knowledge in LAN/WAN/VPN configuration
  • MCP/MCSE/A+/CCNA,…..certification is a plus.
  • Windows 10,11 Home and Professional
  • Mac OS
  • Hands-on knowledge of PC based office systems
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
