Digital Content Writer with the company is responsible for creating and developing a variety of content in multiple digital channels for a diverse list of clients from varied industry verticals. Deliverables typically have very tight deadlines and, therefore, the position requires creative thinking, strong writing skills and an ability to work well under pressure.
Key Areas of Responsibility · Write fresh content based on research and brainstorming by following instructions provided for each type of clients. · Develop engaging content for articles, blogs and social media to entice and engage audience. · Proofread content for errors or additions and ensure that content is written per instructions. · Think up titles for each piece of content keeping appropriateness in check · Work closely alongside the Creative team and social media Team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns for clients across a wide range of industries – including health and wellness, education, real estate, fashion, travel, food and restaurants etc. · Assist team in translating narrative strategies into compelling and innovative social media visual assets that engages the viewer, drives traffic and continues to build the brand’s relevance and desirability. · Keep up to date on SEO best practices and work with the SEO team to implement these into the required content. · Act as a source of Content Marketing subject matter expertise for internal teams and clients. · Manage project timelines efficiently.
Requirements · Must be well-versed with all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest etc. · A strong passion for all things digital · Ability to adapt style and tone of voice to suit a range of different clients and industries. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise both with both colleagues and clients. · Strong creative writing, researching and editing skills · Impeccable spelling and grammar · Previous proven experience creating content and copy for a range of online mediums including blogs, website, infographics, online videos, competitions, and social media campaigns is a plus. · Ability to work in strict deadlines and campaign schedules. · Ability to multitask and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
