Job Description
Job Summary:
As a Junior Civil Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective supervision of construction projects while also using AutoCAD for design, drafting, and documentation tasks. You will collaborate with project managers, senior supervisors, and design teams to ensure that construction activities align with project specifications and design plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior supervisors in overseeing construction site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Monitor work progress, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
- AutoCAD Design and Documentation
- Utilize AutoCAD software to create, modify, and update construction drawings, blueprints, and site plans.
- Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of daily construction activities, including modifications and revisions made using AutoCAD.
- Assist in generating progress reports and project documentation.
- Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, although a degree in civil engineering or a related field can be an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software with the ability to create, edit, and interpret construction drawings.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior supervisors.
- Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) can be beneficial.
